Hollywood Sales Plummet

Transformers cast and director

The summer box office has been somewhat of a bust for Hollywood, as sales are considerably off. Even with "Transformers" practically doubling the price of its movie tickets, the film saw a decrease in viewers and lagged behind its predecessor.

Imax has also shown a sales decline, as their revenues revealed a drop in profits. Current sales figures are ironic, as summer is usually Hollywood's busiest and most profitable season.

Megan Fox Covers Elle China As Rumors Swirl Her Marriage Is In Trouble

Megan Fox covering Elle China

As her career has been reduced to fronting ad campaigns, doing magazine spreads and cheap, low brow movies, Megan Fox, who was fired from the "Transformers" film franchise, covers this month's Elle magazine in China. Inside the magazine, she desperately goes for broke, in not wearing much at all (those pics have been omitted from this site).

Her marriage is also said to be in trouble, after fellow "Transformers" actor, Shia LaBeouf, publicly blew the whistle on their sexual relationship, at a time some contend, she was still with fiancé, now husband, Brian Austin Green. However, he is a sucker for Fox and will forgive her fling with LaBeouf, opting to fling LaBeouf across the room, if he catches him.

In light of allegations that Megan Fox, 25, had a sexual relationship with co-star, Shia Labeouf, 25, while making the "Transformers" films, she was later fired from, has she made her husband, then fiancé, Brian Austin Green, 38 insecure and suspicious of her behavior.

Would you trust this face?

Is Brian Austin Green mistrustful of Fox. I ask because he has accompanied her to the set of the latest film she is working on. Is this Green's way of marking his territory and making his presence known on set as a warning to the men present.

David vs. Goliath Sam!

Brian Austin Green to Megan Fox: if I catch him I'm gonna punch him!

Brian Austin Green ("David Silver"), wants to punch fellow actor, Shia LaBeouf ("Sam Witwicky"), in the face, for going public with his sexual relationship, with Megan Fox, while they were engaged. Green, 37, went on to marry Fox, 25, who recently confirmed having sex with Labouf, 25, whilst making their "Transformers" movies, she was later fired from.

Shia LaBeouf blabbed in Details

While LaBeouf didn't go into any gory details in Details magazine, about the premarital sex with Fox, Green got the picture and wants to beatdown LaBeouf for touching his woman. Bloggers everywhere are salivating at the hits bonanza, website hits that is, which would ensue from the above mentioned confrontation, but I'm going to be a good girl and say, violence is not the answer.

Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf in 2009

Though, it would really be good for site views if you did punch Shia in the face, I cannot condone violence in any measure, because that would be wrong. Megan, Brian and Shia, you know, there's a great new restaurant on Melrose you guys should go check out and preferably, at the same time (*snaps fingers at the paparazzi* "follow them and bring back pics"). Shia, I love Jews, but I'm letting you know in advance, if you get hit in the face over Fox, I'm posting the picture.

Plastic Surgeons Call Megan Fox A Liar Over Botox Claims

Megan Fox

According to a Zimbo article, Megan Fox has done herself a disservice in claiming she's had no Botox injected into her face, to reduce wrinkles and give a smoother appearance. Doctors have gone on records disputing her claims.

The article stated, "Dr. Nicholas Vendemia of New York said, "'Those lines on her forehead are totally fake.' Dr. Vince Afashi of Newport Beach insisted, 'The photo looks altered. The muscles in the forehead do not usually create an arc-like pattern seen in the photo,' adding, 'Anatomically [it] does not make sense.' Finally, Dr. David Sire of Fullerton thinks if the photos are untouched, then the forehead isn't: 'I have never seen the frontalis muscle do this unless the muscle was surgically cut. It appears as if she is frowning and elevating her brow at the same time. Quite a feat!'"

It's a shame she altered her face beyond the nose job, as the rest of the work, such as cheek and lip alterations, have made beautiful Fox look a bit plastic. Fame messes with people's heads, in an industry where the more work you have done, the better you allegedly look, which is not true.

Fox looked her best in 2009, before she engaged in excessive cosmetic procedures that have added years to her face. Take a look at the comparative photos below, as should Megan and leave the cosmetic work alone for years:

Megan Fox's Career Still Mired In Mud

Brian Austin Green and wife Megan Fox

Megan Fox used to spend her days on movie sets for major studio films. After being fired from the "Transformers" film franchise, she now spends her days doing small films and wandering around Los Angeles, with husband, Brian Austin Green, in tow.

Megan Fox on the set of "Transformers 3" before she got fired

Fox was enraged when Michael Bay fired her from "Transformers 3" on Steven Spielberg's orders, for calling him "Hitler" and has been sadden to see another woman in her role, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. It's small consolation that critics bashed Whiteley's performance, as Fox's career has not rebounded, embarking on an ongoing slide.

"Transformers" director Michael Bay

One could cite typecasting, but the fact of the matter is, when one has been fired in such spectacular fashion, big name directors may deem one troublesome and difficult, not worth the risk to their projects.

Megan Fox

Fired "Transformers" actress, Megan Fox, 25, took to the social networking site, Facebook, to dispute claims she's had work done to enhance her appearance, specifically Botox injections to smooth out wrinkles, hoping that would cover all allegations of cosmetic surgery. The other day, Fox was looking like a slingshot was holding her face back.

However, Fox had a nose job, lip injections and work done on her cheeks to make them more pronounced. Her face was looking freakish the other day at the "Jonah Hex" premiere, but some of the procedures are wearing off and she took the opportunity to take photos of herself, utilizing a variety of facial expressions, to refute all claims of cosmetic surgery.

Transformers 3 Sales Decline Actually Higher Than Reported

The sales decline of the "Transformers 3" sequel, "Dark Of The Moon" is actually higher than the 24 percent decrease in opening weekend ticket tallies. "Transformers 3" had a higher ticket price, due to the film being in 3D, which means even less people actually saw the film than its predecessor on two fronts.

Many tickets for the film were priced at $12-$13 dollars each. Had the prices been normal, the sales decline would have been even more apparent, clocking a 50-60 percent decrease in revenues. In short, "Transformers 3" is technically the least successful in the franchise, as more people stayed at home and did not watch it.

How 'Transformers 3' can be a hit and a miss at the same time

Posted: Monday, July 4, 2011 1:06 am | No Comments Posted - None dare call it a flop, because it's the biggest opening of the year, but the first-weekend grosses for "Transformers 3" are 24-percent lower than those for "Transformers 2"--at considerably higher, 3-D ticket prices.

This weekend, "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" scooped up about $98 million in the U.S., compared to $128 million for the first weekend of "Transformers: Rise of the Fallen." And keep in mind that because this installment is in 3-D, many theaters are charging an extra three bucks per ticket...

Transformers Dark Of The Moon (Movie Review)

Title: Transformers: Dark Of The Moon

Year Of Release: 2011

Review Date: July 4, 2011

Rating: PG-13

Running time: 155 minutes

Box Office Gross: $391,125,000 (worldwide)

Site Rating: 0 out of 10 stars

"Transformers 3" A/K/A "Transformers: Dark Of The Moon" is the third film in the Steven Spielberg/Michael Bay franchise, featuring the 1980s Hasbro robots. The $250,000,000 (sans marketing costs) reboot stars Shia LaBeouf and Victoria Secret model-turned-actress, Rosie Huntington Whiteley, who replaces Megan Fox.

As many of you know by now, Fox was fired on Steven Spielberg's orders, for calling difficult director, Michael Bay, "Hitler." Spielberg and Bay are Jewish. It was a bad choice of words from a frustrated actress, who had been put through the ringer by the eccentric and sadistic director, who has a thing for her. It was confirmed last week, Fox and LaBeouf, had a sexual relationship for months, which no doubt has made possessive Bay jealous (Megan Fox Had Sex With Shia LaBeouf).

"Transformers 3" was the worst in the trilogy. Ironically, the films have become worse with each sequel. "Transformers 3" was a soulless, slick film that was completely over the top. It was also quite unoriginal. Bay extensively stole from protected copyrights to make this monster that has no depth. The film was chaotic, confused, corny, cheesy, loud, obnoxious, messy and nauseating (literally - during the robot fight scenes).

It was also very violent, profane and quite lewd at times, with sexual jokes well above and beyond its PG-13 rating. The sad part is "Transformers" films are mostly seen by kids and teens. Yet, Bay opens the film with a low angle shot of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's half exposed butt in skimpy lingerie, wedged up the crack of her derrière.

She then straddled LaBeouf, who is in bed. Next, they get into a sexually charged clinch in the bathroom, with a dose of robot voyeurism. Bay could have been more mindful of his audience and omitted said scenes. Anyone who'd brought kids to see this film, wanted to kick him in the teeth at this point.

Bay insisted the addition of, Frances McDormand and John Malkovich, would lend credibility to the overblown film, but it did not in any fashion. The writing was substandard, the jokes corny and vulgar and McDormand was overacting. It's "Transformers" not Shakespeare. It's not Oscar material (well, unless they take bribes).

An item of note: as a black person, I found the "slave and master" comments and references, which were gleefully inserted into the movie, patently and thoroughly offensive. It was not amusing.

Critics have bashed this film and with good reason. It simply isn't very good. It goes well beyond replacing Fox with a model, who seems uncomfortable and out of her element on film. Try as she may, she is not an actress and it shows in the film. But I digress, audiences don't seem very taken with this film either, as it has experienced a 24% decline in sales from its predecessor (as of 7/2/11) and with good reason. To put it poetically...the movie sucks.

Transformers 3 Sales Decline 24% From Its Predecessor

1/4th Of Its Sales Are Gone During The Opening Weekend

For the past year, the Judiciary Report has been writing about the "Transformers 3" film and the likelihood of suckage and that‘s exactly what has happened. Pre-release stills and clips revealed a not so good movie in the making.

Apparently, audiences agree with the site, as "Transformers 3" also titled "Transformers: Dark Of The Moon" has experienced a sizable 24% decline in ticket sales in its opening days, from its predecessor, "Transformers 2" (according to the Deadline Hollywood website on Saturday).

I finally caught "Transformers 3" this past Saturday and it was not a good movie (I want my money back). It sucked more than "Transformers 2." I have posted a review of "Transformers 3" on the www.CelluloidFilmReview.com website. You can read the review by clicking here.
