Will Kim Kardashian Join Basketball Wives

...And Get Beat Up In The Process (LOL)

Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian

Now that reality TV star, Kim Kardashian, is set to marry NBA basketball player, Kris Humphries, will she join Shaunie O'Neal's program "Basketball Wives." The more likely question is, would Kardashian survive "Basketball Wives" after Tami Roman punches her in the mouth, dislodging her silicone.

"Basketball Wives" reality show cast

O'Neal's show is getting to be like a weekly boxing match, with people getting knocked out, left, right and center, by reigning champ, Roman (boo, put the alcohol down, before you beat everybody on the show, cast and crew).

Tami Roman

Of course I'm not being serious with this article, but admit it, the thought of Kardashian hauling butt from Roman was funny. Hands down, Roman would win the fight (doesn't she win every fight on that show).

Shaunie O'Neal Slams Her Show Basketball Wives

Shaunie O'Neal

Well, well, well! I remember in February 2011, when the Judiciary Report published an article stating the reality show Basketball Wives "makes black women look bad" (Shaunie Stirring The Doo Doo In The NBA). Shortly after, Shaunie O'Neal, a part time Miami resident, did an interview upset that it was said the show "makes black women look bad" (Is Evelyn Lozada About To Stab Shaunie O'Neal In The Back For Her Own Show). It was bite off the blogger's head time. But here we have it, several months later, in an interview conducted days ago, O'Neal stated she is embarrassed by the show and its Jerry Springer type tactics, particularly the fighting:

“When I started the show I really just wanted to follow this group of ladies around. We all have a common bond; we understand each other’s lives. It started as that. Since then, it’s taken on a life of its own. I never imagined it would be a group of ladies fighting and arguing that way that they do. That was never part of the plan.

“I hate that it has to be a fight or an argument that gives us 4.2 million viewers. I hate that, but it’s something where I’m working as hard as I can to show some type of balance, because it is there. We do know how to act, we do charity work. I would love a little more balance and we’re going to try to do more of that in season 4. I know that people love the fighting and the arguing, but I do want to have some positive in there somewhere.”

“I feel like that show, from what I hear in certain production calls and stuff like that, is turning into ‘I have slept with a basketball player at some point of time in my life, so now I’m on Basketball Wives’. That’s definitely not what I brought to the table and not what I would be proud of having my name on. I think that’s a whole different show that I wouldn’t produce. A change needs to be made somewhere in these reality shows. If I can be the start, I would to be a start in showing some balances.”

"Basketball Wives" cast members Shanice, her mom, Evelyn Lozada and Jennifer Williams

When one contrasts "Basketball Wives" with shows in its genre, such as "Braxton Family Values" which is not a fight fest, it becomes apparent that one does not have to resort to such tactics to gain viewers. In fact, the Braxton sisters stated, initially their show was not picked up by a few other networks, because they refused to get into fist fights on camera, stating they do not do that.

Did Basketball Wives Star Evelyn Lozada Leave Her Fiancé Because He Lost His Money

Antoine Walker and Evelyn Lozada

Did "Basketball Wives" reality TV star, Evelyn Lozada, 35, leave her finance of 10-years, NBA basketball player, Antoine Walker, because he lost almost all of his money, due to excessive spending and gambling, forcing him to put his Miami mansion on the market. The house originally priced at, $3,4000,000, is still on the market, suffering from a number of price reductions.

Walker's home in the Miami suburb of Coconut Grove has been on the market for the past 8-months

The Miami Heat athlete made millions, but was regrettably arrested for writing bad checks to a casino to cover his gambling debts. The Judiciary Report does not support gambling, as it can become an addiction, robbing people of all they have worked for.

Walker's property has seven bedrooms

Lozada left Walker when his money woes arose, moving out of the Coconut Grove mansion they shared, as it faced foreclosure and he bankruptcy. However, she was able to start her own boutique in neighboring Coral Gables, with money she gained from Walker. Lozada now lives in a condo with her 17-year-old daughter Shanice, after living in the lap of luxury with Walker for years.

Walker's property also features a pool

The reality star cried on "Basketball Wives" bitter that Walker did not marry her after all those years. One has to admit, an engagement lasting for a decade is not the norm and clearly betrays the fact, Walker did not want to marry Lozada.

Could it be Lozada's well known temper, love of money or her reputation as a NBA groupie (as disdainfully mentioned on "Basketball Wives"). His reported cheating most likely played apart in his desire to remain single as well.

Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada

Walker is now playing for smaller basketball teams, while he works to repair his life and finances. Lozada is engaged to millionaire NBA football player, Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, who was just traded to the New England Patriots.

Warning: Graphic Language

Basketball player, Eric Williams, who is in the middle of a messy divorce from wife, Jennifer Williams, forcefully threw a drink in her face on the VH-1 reality show "Basketball Wives." A demeaning clip has been making its way around the internet, provoking anger from some, as Eric's conduct towards chatty Jennifer was excessive. It didn't look right. The show is consistently putting such negative images out there and due to the fact it is reality TV, it comes across even worse, as these are real people, not television characters.
